The course aims to enable the students with knowledge of History of Mahayana Buddhism from Śākyamuni Buddha’s life to the present time. This course also aims at providing knowledge about Buddhist Academic centers.
Course Objectives

1. To give the knowledge about expansion of Buddhism
2. To give historical knowledge of Buddhism from Śākyamuni Buddha to the Buddhist age
   of Present time
3. To acquaint with Buddhist Vihāra and Buddhist academic centre as a seat of Buddhist
   Education learning centers
